A beloved flavor of Morocco, harissa is a paste made of various chile peppers, garlic, and olive oil. We have expanded upon the simple recipe, adding flavorful spices such as cumin, coriander and caraway, along with herbs, cilantro and mint, to cut through the spicy heat. We offer you a dry seasoning blendthat can be mixed with olive oil for a satisfying bread dip or used to season a variety of dishes.
Uses: Mix 1 TBS with ¼ cup olive oil and let set for half an hour to allow the herbs and spices to soften. Serve with oven-warmed or grilled bread. This seasoning can also be used to spice deviled eggs, chicken salad and tomato sauce, sprinkled over vegetables before roasting or mixed into mayo to create a spicy sandwich spread.
